Systems Analyst/Business Analysis for Client-Facing Role – Entertainment Sector – Los Angeles, CA in Los Angeles

THE COMPANY AND SITUATION OVERVIEW:

The world leader in software systems to the music and entertainment industry requires an I.T. Systems Analyst or I.T. Business Analyst to undertake a client-facing role relating to their software product aimed at the film/TV industry.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The experience required for this role is as follows:

• A minimum of 3 years real-world experience in I.T. Systems Analysis or I.T. Business Analysis

• Understanding of, and experience in writing Business Process Flows and Business Requirements

• Very strong documentation skills

• VERY important are excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Desirable, but not essential, is any experience of

• Experience in I.T. Systems Analysis or I.T. Business Analysis gained in an I.T. service provider such as a software company, I.T. Consultancy, I.T. Systems Integrator

• Experience in I.T. Systems Analysis or I.T. Business Analysis gained in the Film/TV industry

• I.T. Project Management experience

THE JOB:

This is essentially a classic Business Analyst role: Taking down client requirements and converting them to technical specifications for the software development staff. We need someone to listen to the client and accurately document their needs.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The opportunity here is deemed by the Senior VP and General Manager as “limitless”. Due to growth, this is a brand new position and the first position of its kind within the company. They are looking for someone they can groom for management and in the longer term become a future Director of Client Services and manage multiple areas of the firm.
